# Messenger

Messenger is the communication nervous system of PhoSend. It connects
SMS, MMS, and internal messaging workflows through standardized message
structures derived from Twilio XML patterns but adapted to PhoSend
architecture.

Messaging components include: Comm -- communication layer Lists --
customer lists and segmentation Down -- inbound message handling Out --
outbound message generation

Messenger connects customers, images, and commerce actions across the
system.
