Photoshop Desk communicates with Photoshop and Bridge in a triangle of operation, providing a simple pathway to major functions. Many operations involve Bridge as the organizing front end, Desk as the way to map complex operations, and Photoshop to carry out and display those operations.
Desk provides a way to record Bridge and Photoshop procedures using Adobe's Javascript extension Extendscript. Desk provides active help, with user-guiding knowledge. It is intended to remember user steps, building those steps into the knowledge base.
